Bloodwork

Blood tests are an essential part of veterinary medicine. Annual bloodwork can detect issues before they become a detriment to your pet, and in-house bloodwork can aid vets in diagnosing potential conditions or deficiencies in an urgent situation. We offer both send-out and in-house bloodwork depending on the needs of your pet and diagnostic needs of the veterinarian.

In-House Bloodwork for Urgent Cases

When your pet is sick, you don't want to wait days to get the results of blood tests and start their treatment. Our in-house diagnostic lab equipment allows us to get answers to you quickly, so we can treat your pet and get them feeling better as soon as possible. We have a chemistry analyzer, which measures values relating to your pet's thyroid, liver, kidney and electrolyte health. We also have a hematology machine, which measures the health and number of your pet's blood cells, which can tell us things like whether or not they are anemic, or fighting off infection.

We understand that having a sick pet can be a scary thing, and we don't want you to have to wait for answers regarding the state of their health. If you're concerned about your pet and are interested in having their bloodwork done, please call, text or mail us as soon as possible.
