Dr. Rita Geigel was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Puerto Rico. She grew up on her Grandfather's farm, where she developed a life-long passion for taking care of animals.
She attained both her Undergraduate Degree in Biology and her Veterinary Degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, officially becoming a VMD. In 1991, she moved to Austin with her husband and family. Ever since, she has pursued excellence in her career and honed that knowledge to care for cats and dogs. She worked in Emergency Medicine for many years at a diverse spread of Clinics all over Austin.
She finally pursued her dream of opening Windsor Park Veterinary Clinic in 2013! Since then, she has devoted her time to nurturing a compassionate relationship with clients and their pets, focusing on client education and empowerment.
Working at Windsor Park Veterinary Clinic has been the most fulfilling, exciting time in her career. She strives to serve with love, patience and intention to collaborate with her clientele alongside her wonderful, excellent and supportive staff.
Laura has worked for Windsor Park Veterinary Clinic for several years. Even though she moved away, she still enjoys working remotely with everyone here. She feels you will not find a better team of Veterinary professionals in Austin outside of this clinic. She loves this clinic and the compassion the staff has for its patients.
Sam joined the Windsor Park Vet Clinic team in July of 2018 as a receptionist with previous experience in various customer support and financial management roles. Her love of animals is evident at both at the clinic and at home with her fur babies Binx the Bombay and Yoshi the Schnauzer mix. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, karaoke, comedies, swimming, art and trying out local restaurants and food trucks.
Hayley was born in raised in Michigan. She moved to Texas due to the military. She's been a Veterinary Technician for ten years, and eight of those years she has specialized in surgery. To further her career and education, she completed a program to become a formal Dental Technician several years ago. Animals have always been her passion and she strives to provide the care that she would want her pets to receive. Her hobbies include snuggling up with her pets, painting, and swimming.
Evan has been a part of the Windsor Park Vet Clinic team for four years! He has four dogs of his own, and you're most likely to catch him hiking with them outside of work hours.
Kola is from Honolulu, Hawaii. She's been surrounded by animals her entire life, from dogs to lizards. She has two fur babies of her own, Bella and Capone, that keep her busy 24/7. She's also a huge foodie and loves to eat!
Kiana has been working at Windsor Park Vet Clinic for a year now, and is currently in school to be a Veterinary Technician! Helping animals is a passion of hers.
