Dr. Rita Geigel was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Puerto Rico. She grew up on her Grandfather's farm, where she developed a life-long passion for taking care of animals.
She attained both her Undergraduate Degree in Biology and her Veterinary Degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, officially becoming a VMD. In 1991, she moved to Austin with her husband and family. Ever since, she has pursued excellence in her career and honed that knowledge to care for cats and dogs. She worked in Emergency Medicine for many years at a diverse spread of Clinics all over Austin.
She finally pursued her dream of opening Windsor Park Veterinary Clinic in 2013! Since then, she has devoted her time to nurturing a compassionate relationship with clients and their pets, focusing on client education and empowerment.
